Premiere: Luna - Lay Like Stars (Haku Remix)

LUNA is a rising star of UK electronica and one of the brightest talents in Liverpool’s fertile and eclectic scene. Booked for Brighton’s The Great Escape Festival earlier this year following the self-release of her debut EP ‘Hello Earth’, LUNA has also performed live at prestigious venues such as London’s Old Blue Last, Berlin’s Bar Bobu, Brussels’ UKMis Brussels and Manchester’s Roadhouse. Alongside this she has received radio-play from the likes of BBC 6 Music, Worldwide FM and Noods, as well as releasing her first dance track 'VENTUS' on the Manchester based label Shifting Spheres earlier this year, a label of course very close to my heart.

This EP sees her invite talent from across the Northwest to provide their takes on the "Hello Earth EP" transforming downtempo electronica into club orientated remixes with contributions from Mystique, Stealing Sheep, Haku, Ross Robertson and MaxQuerade.

Today we bring you Haku's contribution, one half of the duo Deep Space Orchestra whose "intergalactic transmissions" have landed on the likes of Craigie Knowles, Quintessentials and Delusions of Grandeur. His take is an ever evolving electro infused trip, marked by sparkling synths, acid tinged melodies that feel like they have been created by an actual extraterrestrial being and punchy toms which inject a whole new level of energy.
