Premiere: Bobo - I Know (End of Times Mix) [Mixing Mates]

We first heard 'I Know (End of Times Mix)' in Bobo's wonderful Halcyon Wax X Threads Radio takeover he did with us back in August with 100% of his own material, both released and unreleased, described by Bobo himself as 'an hour of original music that [had] been interlaced through the mainframe with speech fragments from other simulations.'

When Manchester based label Mixing Mates, announced their debut release 'Mixing Mates 001' with Bobo behind the helm I was super excited to see 'I Know' on the release. Already sold out on pre-order via their Bandcamp, the vinyl only release will still be available to cop in record stores and also on Mixing Mates own website in 2021.

Chatting to label head Kerry McColgan she stated that this is the debut in their "White 100 Series" where, you guessed it, only 100 copies will be made available: "The debut release on Mixing Mates "White 100 Series" comes from one of our good friends and incredibly talented producer: Bobo. 5 original tracks going from some big room techno beats, a beautiful downtempo // ambient piece through to those vocal and breaksy dance floor bangers. 100x copies (vinyl only), we're glad to have this delight as our first one on the shelf!"

Today we are delighted to bring you 'I Know (End of Times Mix)'. Opening with a breakbeat drum pattern and chopped vocal samples, the track builds to introduce euphoric synths alongside energetic percussion which drop in and out as the track progresses. A simply divine creation.
