Mix: Jahmed

Stepping up next to the Halcyon series is Flat Earth Disco founder Jahmed, whose mix is packed full of summery sounds and groove inducing licks. Pre-pandemic, London-based Jahmed was popping up on lineups at some of the most iconic clubs across the country and further afield (ft. a booking on an idyllic beach in Panama). Residencies with Good Life, Midnight People and Face2Face have seen him support top names in the scene such as Romare, Dan Shake, Crazy P, Late Nite Tuff Guy, Laurence Guy & O'Flynn.

Chatting to Jahmed about the mix he said:

"I had a lot of fun putting this together. It’s mostly comprised of new discoveries over the past month or so and covers a lot of the world in terms of artists and samples. Included a couple of my absolute favourite newish releases on both Toy Tonics and Razor’n’Tape labels.

To sum up in one line, I’d say it’s an hour of feel-good house and disco with a big international influence. Definitely one that got me excited for festivals coming back."
