Halcyon Wax Presents: Isolation Station 11/04 - 12/04

Last weekend we successfully outwitted the Zucc with Isolation Station edition 3: this time with a lineup bigger and better than anything we've done before.

Big thanks to everyone who played! We had killer sets across the weekend from our favourite local and global selectors. You can catch the whole visual experience on our Facebook, or see below where the audio has been immortalised on our Soundcloud forever more...

Oli Judd

Halcyon Wax co-founder Oli Judd opened up proceedings for day one with otherworldly electro, dreamy synths and a mean green screen.

Ben From Wales

Avalon's Ben From Wales played some booty shakin' selections from ghetto house to wish we were in the rave breaks & acidic melodies.

Shifting Spheres co-founder and Mancunian gal Mystique graced the stream with a winning formula of all vinyl, Detroit inspired selections.

DC Terry Walsh

Swansea boy and Altitude head honcho DC Terry Walsh treated us to some tasty, fast paced electronic bleeps and bloops.

Jay Carder

London's Jay Carder provided techy and percussive goodness that resided in spiritual, jungle- like soundscapes.

Birmingham mainstay and Voyage Events head Trieste treated us to an eclectic range of goodies, from alien engineered bangers to funky jams.

Label owner and party thrower Whitehouse teased us with a whole bagful of unreleased jams unified by underlying garage flavours.

Echo Juliet w/ Visuals from hellocatfood

Selextorhood core member and Balamii resident Echo Juliet partnered up with hellocatfood for funk, latin and disco flavours accompanied by live engineered, psychedelic visuals.

Hywel Nash

Swansea's Hywel Nash provided disco infused house and funky grooves to lift our spirits whilst in isolation.

Young Mac

Hustle Resident Young Mac made us groove and move with an eclectic selection and the most conscious expanding fish tank we've ever had the pleasure of seeing.

Halcyon Wax and Shifting Spheres co-founder Roo dug into her record bag and pulled out selections dripping in soul and depth.

French selector and Bel'Air Festival's head honcho Naconda injected jazz and groove into this all vinyl affair.

Peruvian DJ J.A.M stayed true to the roots of house with a gorgeous mix of deep and soulful selections.

DJ Moments

The man behind Coventry's Ghost Town events, DJ moments, employed party weapons and warehouse grooves, whilst sporting our favourite Tee of the night - big ups to Moodymann.
